Mahindra group might not get the deal to buy Ducati

Its been quite long as the news about Ducati is spreading that Ducati is put for sale and many companies including Indian company Mahindra are in hunt to own the classy company. Many of the global biggies are also trying to own the company.

The latest news is that Mahindra have just ended up in a position that they are not able to strike the deal as it will be a very taunting task for Mahindra to convince Investindustrial Group, the present Ducati owners.



Mahindra and Mahindra looking forward to acquire Saab and it has recently acquired REVA and SsangYong. Ducati is making a good business world over at the moment, Investindustrial Group wants to increase this growth with an aid of better partner.

Ducati have gained 10.7% share in world super bike market by selling about 40000 bikes all over the world. Mahindra dont have a great success story as a company when compared to the other contenders like BMW, Volkswagen.

BMW have many success stories, with its Motorrad Division. BMW and Volkswagen have proven their capabilities in the past when they acquired other companies. They have been able to steadily steer the growth of the firms which they acquired.

In recent years BMW acquired Mini, Rolls Royce, and Volkswagen also had new entrants in its family, like Skoda, Seat, Audi, Bugatti, and Lamborghini.
