All Vehicle Tax Can Be Now Paid Online In Kerala

Tax Payment for motor vehicles in the state gets much easier nowadays. The Motor Vehicle Department of Kerala has introduced an online payment facility for the renewal of their tax policy. Earlier, the online facility was applicable only for newly registered vehicles in the state. And from now on, whether it is old or new vehicle everyone can pay their tax through the official website of Kerala MVD.



Akshaya e-centers across the state also provides the payment service for the customers who don't have any internet facility at home. Once the payment has made, the site will generate a temporary receipt which is available for taking a printed copy. Within 7 days of time, the customer can collect the original Tax License Certificate from their respective office by submitting this temporary receipt. Suppose, if any mishaps occur to this, you can approach the Regional Transport Office with respective receipt and documents.



Always remember to register your e-mail address with the website before making the final payment, so that one can access all the relevant information regarding the tax payment. Moreover, the MVD has also introduced a new feature on their website to upload the scanned copy of insurance policy to our vehicle profile.
