Honda CBR 250R bags Indian Auto industry award for "The Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2012"

Honda which flooded the Auto Expo venue with a number of new launches is having great times in Indian market. Honda, who is now at third position in Indian two wheeler market, is providing new launches in almost all two wheeler genres.

Here comes a news which underlines the success and credibility this foreign company has got in India. Honda CBR 250R was honored with an award of "The Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2012". This will be a great boost for themselves and for their sales.



Every year Indian Auto industry presents awards in two segments of best car and best motorcycle of the year. This time, it was grabbed by Maruti Suzuki Swift in the car segment and by Honda CBR 250 R from Honda Motors in motorcycle segment.

This award can be considered as one of the biggest achievement by Honda Motors especially after termination of its joint alliance with Hero Motors of India. Features adorned in Honda CBR 250R include 250cc liquid cooled 4 stroke DOHC single cylinder engine that churns out maximum power of 26 BHP at 8500 rpm and torque of 23 Nm at 7000 rpm.
