43 percent growth reported by Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp, after the historic split up with the Japanese biggie Honda is proving that they can continue their success story even without the cooperation of Honda. The report supporting this view came out last day.

The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp, has posted a 43 percent rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, at Rs 613 crore. These values clearly supports the above said views.

According to reports, the net profit for the corresponding quarter was at Rs 429 crore. It should be recalled the fact that the company last year separated from Honda group after a 26-year old joint venture, renaming Hero Honda Motors as Hero MotoCorp.

This underlines the fact that Hero MotoCorp will continue to rule the first place in India. It was also reported that total Income has increased 17 percent to Rs 6,108 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 5,224 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
