Aprilia RSV4 and Moto Guzzi 1200 displayed by Piaggio

Auto Expo 2012 which tookplace in Delhi witnessed the launch of many new two wheelers. Of the premium bikes displayed, Aprilia RSV4 and Moto Guzzi 1200 stands out in its looks and performance. These are the launches of Piaggio except the Vespa.

The first one was Aprilia RSV4 Factory that adorns 1000cc, 650, V-4 engine that churns out power of 180 HP at 12,250 rpm and torque of 115 Nm at 10,000 rpm, followed by 6 speed gear box. It has a good heavy attractive look with stunning designs on them.



Aprilia RSV4 has weight of 179 kgs with front tyre 120/70 ZR and rear with 200/55/ZR 17 rear tyre. The other features adorned in Aprilia RSV4 include Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Launch Control and Quick Shift. Aprilia RSV4 adorns fuel tank of 17 litres and supports fuel economic performance. It supports fuel injection system supported by indirect multi point electronic injection, 4 throttle bodies and 8 injectors and Airbox.

Another bike that was unveiled during Auto Expo from Piaggio is Moto Guzzi 1200 empowered with 1151cc, with transverse twin cylinder and 4 valve engine that churns out power of 95 BHP at 7500 rpm and torque of 100 Nm at 5800 rpm. Brake system of bike is controlled by electronic anti breaking system. With weight of 246 kgs Moto Guzzi 1200 integrates fuel tank of 23 litres that makes journey tension free from problem of emptying tank. According to reports, Piaggio speculates that Moto Guzzi 1200 GT will play a major role in establishing flagship of Piaggio in Indian two wheeler market. However company has not yet revealed that when this bike will be finally launched in India.
