New Honda Dio launched at the Expo

In India, the sales of the scooters are on a high. Most of the scooters that have been launched, regardless of the company name is getting good response from the customers. Year by year the sales are going higher and higher.

The culture of using gearless scooters instead of bikes in the recent past was developed mainly because of the success of scooters like Honda Activa, Dio etc. Here comes a news that will surely make happy those who are waiting to switch on to scooters.



All new version of Dio is launched by the Honda company at the Auto Expo 2012. The scooter has got a brand new attractive design that is sure to attract the youth and middle class people equally.

Honda who is flooding with new launches keeps their hopes more on this scooter segment where they have got good acceptance already. The new Dio is powered by a 110cc engine which produces 9 bhp of power output which is more than the Activa (by 1 Bhp) and even the 125cc Suzuki Access (by ~0.5 bhp). Comparing it with the earlier variant this is a 10% increase.
