The Delhi Auto Expo, will witness Mahindra unveiling the new Mahindra Duro DZ - a solid, powerful, fuel efficient 125 cc scooter considered by some experts to be the most suitable scooter for tough Indian roads. The company's cumulative scooter sales from April to December 2011 stood at 1,06,496 units. Sales in December 2011 were 6231 units.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL), a part of the US $14.4 billion Mahindra Group, continued to build its presence in the two wheeler segment. Mahindra have already made a really good impression among the Indian two wheeler users and that is the reason why such a big wait is been made for the launch of this new product.
"We have undertaken some stock correction to make space for the introduction of the new Mahindra Duro DZ. We are very excited about the Duro DZ. It is a solid and powerful scooter designed specifically for Indian road conditions. The Duro DZ has been reviewed by leading industry experts some of whom have termed it as the best scooter on Indian roads." said Viren Popli, V.P. Strategy and Market Development, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
He added that, "With an amazing of superior features, and a very attractive launch price, the new Duro DZ is sure to be an instant hit. We have also created an interesting new marketing campaign with actor Kareena Kapoor which we will be unveiling soon."
