BMW to Launch NinteT on its 90th Anniversary

Celebrating successful 90 years of motorcycling, BMW Motorrad plans to roll out a special edition to commemorate the biggest achievement of the company. The special edition motorcyle is rumoured to be named as the NineT.



It was in 1923 BMW commenced manufacturing motorcycles. The R32 was the first production motorcycle of BMW featuring a flat-twin boxer engine. Since then BMW became one of best motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Now millions of riders are depended on BMW machines to travel. More than transportation, BMW ensures heritage, tradition, luxury, leisure and above all its huge brand value.



It has been months since the company planned to launch a special edition bike to live out the 90th anniversar. However some issues delayed the unveiling of the machine. Anyway, BMW can postpone it no further since it's already half done this year. Hopefull, BMW would unveil the machine any time soon.

The all new NineT is moulded out to be in cafe racer format. Even though the bike will be mated with a traditional appearance, the features and specifications of the bike will make a newxt generation two wheeler among its rivals. The bike will be equipped with a 1200cc air-cooled boxer twin engine. Since the company hasn't revealed anything, there is no clue regarding its power and torque.



The NineT somewhat looks like Ducati Monster machines. The NineT is equipped with a round headlight. It is a single seater motorcycle that can move really faster that its competitors. The all new BMW machine has also got a new frame. Now the bike looks perfect and rigid enough. It will be wedded with normal upside-down forks instead of BMW's patented Telelever front suspension.

It is real hard time for BMW fanatics across the world to patiently wait for the special edition monster. Things would have been better, if the company announced an exact date about unveiling the bike. However, it is certain that motorcycle enthusiasts can see their admired piece of motorcycling, the NineT, at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where the annual celebration of BMW gets placed in July.
