Mahinda and Mahindra Two Wheeler has summed up a tricky contest, 'The Zip Zap Zoom Challenge' to attract attention of millions of scooter riders in the country. By the contest, if anyone rides anyone of the three scooters, the Duro DZ, Rodeo RZ and the Rodeo RZ Std. and still wishes to go for another scooter brand, then he will be paid Rs.500 by Mahindra. However, there are a lot of conditions applied. The offer is only valid from April 1 to April 30.
By the contest the company tries to convey that its scooters are way supreme than its rival brands such as Honda, Suzuki, Hero, Yamaha etc. Since the launch of all three scooters, the consortium couldn't meet up the targeted units. So in order to achieve a good position in the Indian scooter industry, Mahindra might haven't seen any other option than this. Of course, it will make tons of scooter riders ridden into the store of Mahindra and Mahindra Two Wheelers. It will definitely hike up the monthly units cleared out from the showrooms.
Well, this would also be a tricky opportunity for those who get on the scooters to bag Rs.500. It would be fabulous to see how the customer executives are going to manage those guys.
All three Mahindra scooters for the challenging test are powered by the latest Z Series engine. They come up with a 124.6cc, 4 Stroke, spark ignition engine. Producing peak power of 6 kW @ 7000 rpm and peak torque of 9 Nm @ 5500 rpm, the scooters show out some thrilling rides on them. The Rodeo RZ is the stylish among them. It is purely designed to attract beutiful ladies with its finest finishes and paint schemes. Meanwhile, the Duro DZ looks more muscular and would be good deal for every man who is looking for a powerful scooter. The ARAI mileage of the Rodeo RZ is 59 kmpl.
"Mahindra Scooters are powered by the Z series engine which delivers both power and very good mileage. Moreover Mahindra Scooters are loaded with features not available in any of our competitors. This makes us supremely confident that any customer who comes to take a Test Ride of Mahindra Scooters won't buy any other scooter" said Mr. Viren Popli, Senior V.P Strategy and Market Development, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
