Indian bike manufacturing companies are taking on their Chinese counter parts in African market by launching an array of low priced, highly efficient, good performance two wheelers. As Africa has become a good market with sales of about 2.5 million bikes per year, there is no wonder why Indian biggies are resting their eyes on Africa.
Big Indian two wheeler manufacturers such as TVS, Bajaj and Hero Honda has already planned to launch their two wheelers in Africa, presenting a tough and stiff competition for Chinese vehicles which are having major share of the African market.
To get a good and big impression all the Indian biggies are planning to launch their entry level two wheelers in Africa. Now the Chinese bike makers who has been dominating in Africa will face a tough competition from the Indian players.
The Indian two wheeler major player 'Hero Moto Corp' (formerly Hero Honda) will be launching its entry level model CD-Dawn at a competitive price, also the bike maker will launch other 100 cc models once CD Dawn establishes its presence. It is expected that all the other companies from India is going to launch bikes of same kind to conquer their own markets.
