KTM Duke 200 will be followed by KTM Duke 350 in 2012

Here comes a great news for all those who are loving and waiting for the KTM bikes, the launch of KTM Duke 200 is not a new news, but for adding thrill and excitement, KTM Duke 350 is also coming to rock Indian roads. They are expecting to sell 25,000 to 30,000 units in India in the first year of launch.

KTM bikes will be launched in the 2012 Auto Expo, which is the most speculated automobile event in the entire sub continent. Mr. Stefan Pierer, CEO of KTM Sport Motorcycle AG revealed this much awaited launch. He said, "During the Delhi Auto Expo next year, we will be launching the first 200 cc Duke bike in India".

Bajaj's Chakan plant is the area planned for the production of both KTM 350 as well as 200. With the launch of KTM 350, the stage will set up to start a competition between Royal Enfield, who is been ruling that segment in Indian market with the foreigners, KTM.

Brazil, Thailand and Malaysia includes the expected new markets of KTM bikes. And that is the reason why KTM is making use of Bajaj's plant, to export these models to the countries said above. So, here comes a 350cc bike to India which I think is a worthwhile consideration for all those who are interested in an economical yet a peppy performing bike.
