Beyond it, there is no further changes taken place. The motorbike is just the same. It comes with a 109cc, Single cylinder, four-stroke, SI engine, that is powerful enough to notch 8.5 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8.91 Nm @5500 rpm. Its engine is coupled with an all down 4-speed constant mesh transmission.

The Dream Yuga is a great successful commuter bike of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Private Limited (HMSI). HMSI has sold more than 3 lakh units of Dream Yuga so far since its launch in May, 2012, which means just a year over. This is certainly a milestone for any firm, as some firms are struggling now even to reach previous year's sales figures.
Honda has announced last year that the firm would overcome the current two-wheeler leader of the world, Hero MotoCorp by 2015-16. In order to achieve the target, the company had released a strategy to launch a new or updated bike every quarter, that means to launch 4 machines every year. It seems that Honda's word is double and even triple stronger. Because, the firm has already rolled out 6 machines so far this year.

The growth of Honda is always a strong challenge to its rivals. Though Honda has chased down Bajaj Auto to become the second best two-wheeler firm of India after Hero MotoCorp, Honda needs to sell more motorcycles to become the second best motorcycle seller of the country. Currently, the second spot of motorcycle is occupied by Bajaj Auto, which plays a marvellous game with Pulsar and Discover brands. Meanwhile, Hero is almost double ahead Honda. So the company needs to roll out new machines in frequent time and Honda is doing the same.
Let's wait and see what all tricks left with Honda to reach the top spot of Indian motorcycle market.
