Maruti Suzuki Launches WagonR Stingray Today at Rs. 4.1 lakh

India's largest automobile kingdom, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, finally launched the WagonR Stingray. The Stingray is a bigger version of its highly succeeded car, the WagonR. The newly launched machine will be competing against Hyundai's upcoming four-wheeler, the Grand i10.



The Stingray is available in 3 variants- LXi, VXi, VXi (O) and is priced Rs 4.10 lakh, 4.38L & 4.67 lakh respectively.

It is equipped with several stunning features to cut down the stakes of rivals. The Stingray hold the first in class projector headlamps. Meanwhile, driver info display, airbag, ABS, technology, black shaded upholstery, and gun finished alloys furnish the vehicle.



The Stingray is powered by a 998cc, All aluminium light weight K10B, 3 cylinder, 4 valve engine, which is BS IV + OBD-II compliant emission compatible. Producing a maximum power of 68 Ps at 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 90 Nm at 3500 rpm, Maruti stands firm for keeping alive the expectations. Its engine is coupled with a 5 speed MT (cable type gear shift) transmission.

In order to ensure a comfortable daily commuting, McPherson strut with coil spring at front and an isolated trailing link with coil spring at rear act for suspension. Meanwhile, a couple of ventilated discs at front and drum brakes at rear are offered.
