2013 Audi RS5 Coupe Launched

The RS5 is priced at Rs. 95.28 lakh.

The German automobile big name, Audi launched its much awaited and updated sports machine, the RS5 in India. This time the car is pretty expensive rather than the 2011 edition due to the increased tax on super luxury four-wheelers. The car is brought in India via CBU (Complete Built Up) route. The 2013 Audi RS5 is tagged at Rs. 95.28 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).



The all new updated machine comes with some slightly updated interiors and exteriors. This certainly puts some freshness to the RS5. Now the RS5 Coupe is packed with newly designed headlights (Xenon plus headlights), new LED tail lights, and updated rear bumper. Apart from these changes the 2013 edition is still the same by its exterior appearance. However, this minor changes could bring in some aggressiveness and sportiness to the car.

Getting into the Coupe, matt brushed aluminium inlays welcome us. Minor changes are visible at the dashboard. The steering wheel is also more belligerent now. Meanwhile, instrument gets accompanied by lap timer and oil temperature gauge. And power adjustable S sport seats redefines comfort level. Its redesigned controls also plays a vital role to renovate it.

Well, the engineers are yet not dare to execute some alterations to the much appreciated 4163cc, V8 petrol engine with direct fuel injection. It delivers a stunning power of 444 Hp at 8250 Rpm and a gorgeous torque of 430 Nm at 4000-6000 Rpm. Its engine is coupled with a 7-speed S tronic which simplifies the stress of drive and makes the machine the leading stuff in its class. The RS5 is run by quattro permanent all-wheel drive.

The Audi RS5 accelerates 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, while its top speed is 250 km/h.

Chilling on its suspension, the RS5 is equipped with the same basic five-link front suspension and independent trapezoidal-link rear suspension. Still, Audi has upgraded dampers and springs. This not only increases performance, but also reduces body roll. While braking has some same story of upgrade. With eight-piston monobloc front calipers and single-piston sliding rear calipers over vented and drilled rotors, braking system is perfect than ever before.

Standard wheels are 19-inch alloys, but you can also have 20-inch five-blade alloys for more impressive drive.

As the RS5 is highly priced the machine will only be rolled out in very limited numbers by Audi.
