I m a fan of YAMAHA CRUX not b'coz I own it, however, I just love it's looks. All 2 wheeler manufacturers to plz note, that a motor cycle should look like a motorcycle & not like some alien who's just landed upon earth, may b from MARS !!! I've written many times to not only YAMAHA, however, to a few other 2 wheeler manufacturers in India to make bikes, more or less around the same looks of CRUX, bigger, stronger, better, around 150 cc to 250 cc(single cylinder), with self start, etc, however, it seems my suggestions have fallen on deaf years. Anyway, coming back to CRUX, it should b powered with a 150 cc mill, delivering a decent 12 bhp, with electric start, with spoke wheels & drum breaks only(plz no cast alloy wheels & disk breaks), the front wheel should b 2.75 x 18 & the rear should b 3.00 x 18. The fuel tank should b at least 14 litres, there should b a small 3 watt pilot lamp, neatly incorporated into the round headlamp assembly, it should have a rectangular box swing arm, with a wheelbase of 1320 mm, ground clearance of at least 172 mm, it should have a heavy duty 12 V, 7 ah battery, with a powerful halogen headlamp bulb of 12 V, 60/55 Watts. In a nutshell, it should retain the current looks of the CRUX, however, should b bigger, better, stronger, sturdier, reliable long lasting motorcycle. I salute YAMAHA, for this beautiful piece of engineering marvel !!! I also suggest, that the co should immediately provide a 3 watt pilot lamp bulb into the round headlamp assembly of the crux, as it's a must for all vehicles to b equipped with a pilot lamp. Thx !!! Happy & safe riding to all INDIANS.

The Crux looks so simple. But it is too great for it needs less maintenance cost. It is reliable and fuel efficient. I get 75 kmpl mileage from my Crux. I even take it for long runs. I just love it.
