Launched in India in 2001.

TVS launched the 110cc motorcycle the Victor GL in 2001. Victor GL was the first the first bike from “Victor” series. After few years, this was upgraded to Victor GLX 125. The Victor bikes were renowned for their fuel efficiency and robust nature. Then this bike was again re-launched in the year 2016 as Victor, replacing the old and dull styling and designs.

The 2016 Victor is powered by a 109.7cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine which delivers 9.46 bhp @ 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 9.46 Nm @ 6000 rpm. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. The base model comes with a drum brake and higher version features 130 and 240 mm disc brakes at the front and an internally expanding drum brakes for rear. Like all 110-125 cc motorcycles, this one also have a telescopic oil damped front suspension for front wheels and a 5 step adjustable hydraulic spring suspension for rear wheels.

Styling and other cosmetic components are well organised and very neatly done. It has all the necessary outfits of a daily commuter. The fuel efficiency of this motor bike is 76 kmpl, which is way ahead of its fellow competitors. The fuel tank can store 8 litres of petrol and reserve capacity is around 2 litres, which is pretty economical for day to day office uses.

First Impression Review

The Vector is one of the most affordable and value for money motorcycle one can buy in India. TVS has built a very affordable and friendly motorcycle with the Vector. The Vector comes with very spacious seat, comfortable suspension, DRL lighting and stylish and cool graphics to make it very attractive to the prospective customers.

The Vector has a very fuel efficient eco thrust 109.7 cc single cylinder engine that has the capacity to produce a maximum power of 9.6 PS @ 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.4 Nm @6000 rpm. The small cylinder engine is mated to a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. The engine uses Carburettor, CV type fuel system. The Vector gives out a top class mileage of 72km/litres.

Tvs Victor

A Single cradle tubular frame is used for the backbone of the Vector. The motorcycle uses Telescopic oil damped front suspension at the front and a 5 step adjustable hydraulic series spring suspension at the rear. The braking is done with Hand operated, Internally expanding, Ø130 mm drum at the front, while a Hand operated, Ø 240mm disc variants is also available. TVS has given tubeless tyres to make the bike more secure while riding and it is easy to fix while on flat tyres.

The rear suspension is done with Foot operated, internally expanding, Ø 110 mm. The Vector has a seat height of 1090 mm and the ground clearance of 175 mm. The entire weight of the bike comes at 112 kg. The new TVS Vector comes with a more refined engine and attacks very less overall maintenance cost. The engine gives out very good mileage in and around city and traffic.
