Part of the Triumph's range of modern classic motorcycles, Thruxton R is the most expensive and latest offering from Triumph in this range. It is the most thrilling and full blooded classic Cafe Racer in the global market. It is the advanced version their older sibling Thruxton.
It is based on the iconic Bonneville 1200cc, high power, 8 valve, parallel twin engine. This engine produces a massive peak torque of 112Nm @ 4950 rpm and a power output of 97 Ps @ 6750 rpm.
Triumph has imposed an instant throttle response through Triumph's next generation ride-by-wire fuel injection system using twin throttle bodies. Three selectable riding modes such as; road, rain and sport provide the rider with great safety and control. The same tubular steel cradle frame of Bonneville is used here.
Thruxton R comes up with a sculpted fuel tank, round classic headlamp, round mirrors, chromed analogue cluster and orange tinted indicators. The clip-on handlebars and rear positioned foot pegs offer a sporty riding position.
This Triumph uses a Brembo twin 310mm floating discs with Brembo 4 piston radial monobloc calipers at the front and a single 220mm, Nissin 2 piston floating calipers at the rear. This motorcycle is well equipped with Triumph's variable ABS system with highest level of control. A fully adjustable 120mm travel Showa 43mm USD forks at the front and Ohlins twin shocks with 120mm travel at the rear deals with suspension department. It has an upswept twin chromed silencers with a good exhaust note.
Diablo red and Silver ice are the two available color variants for this Thruxton.

The Triumph Thruxton R is an authentic cafe racer from Triumph family. The styling, fine lines and the legendary engine makes the Thruxton R a very powerful cafe racer of modern times. Triumph has given a timeless design concept from haed to tail in this motorcycle. The Single bullet seat set-up with painted seat cowl. Higher specification brakes and suspension, Twin floating Brembo dosc brakes, Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyrres, high quality details and finishes with a polished top yoke, stainless steel tank strap and a clear anodized aluminium swinging arm are one of the most important additions of this bike.
