Launched in 2017, Street Scrambler is the Scrambler variant of the Triumph's cheapest model, the Street Twin. It gets the same 900cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering a maximum power of 55 bhp @ 6000 rpm and peak torque of 80 Nm @ 2850 rpm. The engine meshes with the same 5-speed manual gearbox with the assistance of wet, multi-plate assist clutch. It gets brushed stainless steel 2 into 2 exhaust with twin silencers and protective shield. Moreover, this offering has borrowed the KYB 41mm cartridge front forks and KYB rear twin shock with adjustable preload from the Triumph Street Twin model.
Eventhough, it shares principle technical parts from the Street Twin, it gets some unique scrambler kind of features and styling elements in it. This motorcycle has the iconic Bonneville silhouette combined with the sleek fuel tank and minimal bodywork. Other scrambler features are interchangeable pillion seat, aluminium rear rack, removable pillion pegs, hangers and bash plate.

First Impression Review
The Street Scrambler has a more purposeful and beautiful Scrambler style that one could have on a motorcycle. Inspired by the classic scramblers of the past and the iconic freedom and heritage of the street motorcycle, the Triumph Street Scrambler is by far one of the most iconic motorcycles one could take on a ride to the hard terrains and open roads. By matching the contemporary custom principles of Street Twin, the Street Scrambler has the iconic Bonneville silhouette combined with clean lines, minimal bodywork, contemporary finishes and sleek fuel tank.
The interchangeable pillion seat, aluminium rear rack, removable pillion pegs and hangers with adventure style front pegs and bash plate makes it a very versatile package on roads. Triumph has made a dedicated chassis for the Street Scrambler complemented with longer rear shocks and 19-inch front wheel. The wide handlebars and a low seat height make up for a very pleasurable ride across countrysides and open roads. The Metzeler Tourance tyres and the impeccable traction control system deliver real capability and control on every type of road.
By keeping real-life usage and riders personalisation in mind, Triumph has given 150 accessories to add even more off-road attitude and style to the Street Scrambler. A very rigid Tubular steel cradle chassis is used with Twin-sided, tubular steel swing arm in the Street Scrambler. Inside the Street, Scrambler is a very big 900 cc Liquid cooled, 8 valve, SOHC, 270° crank angle parallel twin engine. The parallel twin produces a maximum power of 54 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 78.84 Nm @ 3050 rpm.
The Street Scrambler has a Brushed stainless steel 2 into 2 exhaust system with a twin silencer, the placing of the exhaust at the sides gives it a very aggressive look. The suspension duties of the bike are done with KYB 41 mm forks with 120 mm travel at the front while the rear suspension is done with KYB twin shocks with adjustable preload and 120 mm rear wheel travel. The braking of the Street Scrambler is done with Single 310 mm disc, Nissin 2-piston floating caliper with ABS. The rear brakes are done with Single 255 mm disc, Nissin 2-piston floating caliper with ABS. The overall weight of the Triumph Street Scrambler is 206 kg.
