Kawasaki Z650 ABS

The new Kawasaki Z650 is the naked sports bike offering from Kawasaki, which showcases mean and aggressive styling on roads and tracks. The new Z650 is now upgraded with a much-needed ABS technology to hold the power-horse right under the riders palms. Like all the bikes in the Z family, the Z650 also showcase a good upright riding posture that enables the rider to cover long distances with much less fatigue.

Engine

Kawasaki has provided a very refined and performance tuned 649cc 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine to this naked beast. The powerful twin cylinder engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Z650 produces a raw power of 67.9 bhp @ 8000 rpm and 65.7 Nm of torque @ 6500 rpm. This naked monster uses TCBI with electronic advance as its ignition system while the fule system is Digital Fuel Injection with Keihin 36mm Keihin throttle bodies.

Chassis, Suspension and Braking

The Z650 comes with Dual 300 mm petal-type rotors with two-piston callipers with ABS technology as its front braking system and a Single 220 mm petal-style disc with ABS as its rear braking system. The much-needed ABS technology was what the old versions of the 650 lacked and the new Z650 ABS filled that hole and made this naked sports bike into a good reliable and safe sports bike.
