Hero MotoCorp has been selling Glamour in India from 2005. This popular 125cc commuter was part of the very famous Hero Honda family. Hero Glamour changed the whole phase of commuter segment in India. Unlike other Hero or Bajaj models of that time, it stands apart with its unique design and styling features.
The Way It Looks
The latest Glamour follows the same design principles of the first Glamour. It was designed being considering the demands and usage of an average Indian. The new Glamour looks clearly fresh and outstanding, but it still keeps the characters from old Glamour. Notable changes starts from headlight fairing and Hero imposed newer tail light designs with LED illumination in this new bike. Tail light is fitted as a part of the new sculpted tail piece. A fresh and premium looking side panels and fuel tank cowls are also imposed in the latest version. Another impressive thing is the big instrument cluster with analogue speedometer and digital display showing odometer, tripmeter and fuel gauge. But it certainly lacks clocks and service reminders. The core styling element consists of sculpted lines and the decals that run through the whole body. New Hero Glamour also features Automatic Headlamp On feature.
Engine
Glamour sits on a 124.7cc, air-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine with OHC system. Hero tuned this engine to meets the latest BS-IV emission norms and has also used Advanced Swirl Flow Induction System (ASFS). The mill delivers a top power of 9.1 Ps @ 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm. Engine is mated with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox for smooth and optimum power transmission. Hero still uses all down gear shifting pattern, while the entire world uses universal gear shifting. Both carburettor and fuel-injected models are available for sale. Like Splendor iSmart, this new Glamour features i3S start-stop technology. Engine is famous for fuel efficiency rather than power packed performance and response. Top speed of this bike is 90kmph and it can be even pushed to 100kmph mark with bare amount of vibrations and noises.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
This new Glamour features the latest single downtube cradle frame, which has been developed by the Hero for the first time. Although, the frame is 1.3kg lighter than older one. It provides all the strength and dynamics for the bike. Suspension duties of the bike lies within the hands of telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and swingarm with hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The stopping force of the bike is handled by a 240mm disc brake at the front (optional) and 130mm internal expanding shoe type drum brakes at the rear. The standard version of Glamour features drum brakes at both the ends. The brakes and suspension used in Glamour is also used in other commuters from Hero MotoCorp.
Conclusion
Hero MotoCorp is the World's leading two wheeler maker and they are experts in making commuters. Glamour has been one of the best selling model for Hero, ever since it is launched in India. This 125cc motorycle is much refined than older model. It has the dynamics and comfort at the same time, when it is taken out for a long ride. However, Hero has to change their basic design policy with all their models and especially with the Glamour, so that it could be a better crowd puller in future.

But glamour is not a good bike compare to other. Grear have so many problems. Some times we can't up/down grears. Big sound when down to second gear.
