"I am proud to say that BMW Motorrad is coming into top form just in time for its 90th anniversary. Although the relevant market volume has halved over the last five years, we remain on course for a new sales record. We sold nearly 84,000 motorcycles in the year to the end of August," said Mr. Schwarzenbauer.

The upcoming electric scooter is mainly targeted the Asian ans South American markets. BMW ensures that the scooter will live up to the expectations of scooter enthusiasts especially in city rides. Powered by Lithium-ion batteries, the machine is capable to deliver 100km run within a single charge, which is done via a conventional plug-in power outlet. However, BMW denied to reveal the price tag of the C-evolution at the event. The scooter will probably hit in the US market first. The C-evolution was debuted during London Olympics last August.
