Rather than refining the engine and tuning up the power and torque, the firm is just giving a fresh looks to its proven motorcycles. The company hopes that the design and engine of both the FZ-S and the Fazer are well branded among mass. And the firm doesn't want to take any risk right now. The firm think that the new Special Editions will be another hit in the raising chart of the company.

"The launch of the special edition of the FZ series is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our motorcycles in this series. Our strategic intent is to provide customers with stylish new variants of the FZ series to match his personal style," said Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.
"These bikes have been instrumental in catapulting our sales to an all new level. We have kept the essence of FZ series bikes intact while altering the aesthetics to exemplify the masculine feeling these tough machines are known for. We are confident that these variants too will be an instant hit among the biking enthusiasts," added Mr. Roy.

The FZ-S is powered by the same 153cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine, that delivers a max power of 14PS @ 7500 rpm and a max torque of 14PS @ 7500 rpm. So is the Fazer.
The introduction of the Ray Z with aggressive graphics has already been a hit among the youngsters. And the new generation is looking forward for more stunning machines with gorgeous finish. Yamaha is just holding on things at the right way what exactly is needed to the present condition of Indian motorcycle industry.
