Launched in India in 2002. Boss is not in production now. Discontinued in 2009.
Aiming the commuter motorcycle segment in India, Kinetic launched the Boss under the 100cc class in 2002. Indian Cricket legend, Kapil Dev was appaointed as the Brand Ambassodor of the bike. The Boss was powered by a 97.2cc, Air cooled 4-stroke, single cylinder engine. It delivered peak power of 7.0 bhp @ 7500 rpm and respectful torque of 6.6 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Its engine was mated with a 4-speed transmission. Even though the bike was packed with all necessary components, the machine couldn't win the hearts of millions and unfortunately, Kinetic had to stop the production of the Boss.

I've been using this bike for years, very comfortable and a best bike for city limits and even for sub-urban areas, even the pillow rider can sit comfortably for long rides, its 100 CC engine gives best performance if maintained well with periodic engine oil change and yes it is surely giving good milage 60+ and some spare parts are not available, it should be adjusted with Hero Splendor parts, overall a good bike for commuting!!
