Hero Honda CBZ is known as the first flagship motorcycle of Hero Honda. Hero Honda introduced the CBZ when the Indian Two-wheeler industry was wholly rocked by 100cc machines. The whole industry got shocked when the CBZ's first TV commercial was gone live The advertisement was stunning in which an unknown bike was swiftly moving like a wind. The ad became a huge hit and the CBZ was considered as the superbike of India when it was launched. In fact the CBZ was a scaled version of famous Honda CB series. The bike was mated with a 156.8cc, Air cooled, 4 - stroke single cylinder OHC engine. It produced maximum power of 12.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 12.45 Nm @ 6500 rpm. Its engine was wedded with a 5 speed transmission.
