I am planning to buy my 4th bike but I have to decide between whether I should buy Thunderbird Twinspark or Royal Enfield Classic 350cc? Both are 350 cc only looks are different. I have average height of 5ft 6 inches and weight of 74kgs. I yet to test drive them. All I want to know - which one is better in terms of low maintence, better mileage, long drive experience. As I am planning to drive extensively in city and out of city like Leh, Chandigarh, Manali, Rajasthan and HP.

Hi, currently both Royal Enfield Thunderbird and Royal Enfield Classic has 350cc, 4 stroke, Single Cylinder, Twinspark engine delivering a power of 19.8 bhp @ 5250 rpm and torque of 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The other technical specifications of the bikes are the same except ground clearance, Length, Width, Height and Kerb Weight. The Royal Enfield Classic has a more powerful 60W/55W halogen head lamp than the Thunderbird. Since the two bikes have the same twinspark engine technology there is no difference in fuel efficiency and power. For long drive experiences its better to go for Royal Enfield Thunderbird because its a cruiser bike with more riding comfort and handling. Since both the bikes have same engines, low maintenance and mileage are almost same. So its up to you to decide which model to go for.
Both have teh same engine/transmission/mechanicals. So if your sole concern is long rides, close your eyes and go for the Thunderbird. It's cruiser stance is infinitely more comfortable than the riding stance of the Classic 350 and it also has a much better seat than the Classic 350's seat.
