Pulsar 220 vs R15 v2

If you are looking for a bike with better performance,go for Pulsar 220. Although Yamaha R15 v2 comes with a higher price tag, it offers a better technology(liquid cooling and fuel injection system) and better handling package. But I would say Pulsar beats Yamaha on the power to money ratio.

The bike has 150cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, Single cylinder engine with a power of 17 hp @ 8500rpm and torque of 15 Nm @ 7500rpm. The new Yamaha R15 is the only bike with a 6-speed gear box except 250cc bikes currently in India. Bajaj Pulsar bikes lacks quality engine and body parts and performance, but has more mileage, power and has lesser price in comparison with Yamaha YZF series of bikes. You cant never beat Yamaha YZF-R15 v2 in terms of performance, pick up and smooth riding and handling. So its up to you to decide which bike to go for.

Both are different categories of bikes. The R15 is designed for the track. It develops power and torque at much higher rpms than the P220 and is geared very low, so it has to be kept in the correct gear to obtain invigorating acceleration. Therefore, this bike is not very suitable for city riding. Buy it for city riding only if you are bothered about style. The P220 is easier to ride as it has torque at almost any engine speed in any gear and hence is more suitable for city riding. It has 5bhp more than the R15 so it is a better performer on the highways. The R15 has fantastic steering ,chassis and suspension which makes it the best handling bike in India (apart from the superbike imports). It is also almost Rs 30000 more expensive on road than the P220. So if you want ease of everyday riding and fun on the highway, go for the P220. If you want razor sharp handling from a beautifully balanced bike with style to impress your friends, go for the R15.

If u have an budget of 1.2lakh thn go for R15.its simply superb man

Pulsar 220 & R15 v.2 both are better bikes.in the way of money u may buy p220,because r15 v2 have 30000 more than p220.if u r looking for stylish bike with good body,6 speed gear,150cc engine R15 v.2 is the only one among all bikes (below 250cc).p220 have mileage & less money but it have lot of engine maintance after a long drive or a period.both the bikes are super.if u have money problem u go for p220 & for style with power R15 v.2 is the only one at present.

Go for beast pulsar 220.Which power and torque was good than r15..Even it give nice mileage,but oly prblm is handling...It is better than plastic r15..It will be a rocket in straight road

Aai, go for pulsar 220 it is gd .than r15 . R15 is bad waste

Go 4 220 man...osom bik...with mascular engine ..bttr power n perfomance..

1 think pulsar is a more comfortable then r15 0.2. 2nd r15 is more expensive then pulsar.3rd different between both bike 220 is a more 70cc then r15 ;)...... pulsar its a great choice....

Maintenance is best palsur 220. R15v2 was very cost and high maintenance. Looking best only r15.

P220 is good. Its has 70 cc more then R15. And price will also good then R15. But average is - 35 on highway.
R15 is also good because it was very smooth Run as a compare of p220 . And more stylish then.
I have bike this 2 bikes. P220 or r15. (P220 Black colour which I purchase in 6 Feb 2013 . And (R15 Austra Blue, I purchase in 16 oct 2015 ).
R15 has mileage 42+ in highway.
So, if you get you budget then you buy p220.
Or if you want stylish, and average then R15

Pulser220 is better than r15.. in comparing of price, riding comfort, milage, rode grip

Both the bikes are simly awesome but if u ask me which one should I go for then I will definitely go for p220f , a beast with more pick up,good milege,speed,projector lamp,comfort,maintanance,spare parts,auto indicators,sexy tail lamp,cool looking bike, r15 is not a bad option but its just that 220f is much more better option for city,and highways with the ratio of comfort. { also its an India's no 1 sports bike}
