Why Honda Eterno scooter spare parts not available in market ?
In india there are Many OEM (original Equipment Manufacturing companies ?
any one using this scooter pls inform me
Any spare parts of other company (BAJAJ SCOOTER ,LML VESPA, HONDA ACTIVA ETC SUITABLE FOR HONDA ETERNO ?

Since Eterno is an unsuccessful and discontinued scooter, it would be hard to get its spare parts. You should try some scraps where used spare parts are sold. Its better to contact a good local mechanic.

Honda Eterno is not an unsuccessful scooter but one of the best 2 wheelers Honda has made and Eterno Engine is the one the Best Engines ever made by Honda. the reason why Honda discontinued this model is could be no maintenance nature of the vehicle. I am owning a Eterno from the first breeds since 2003 and haven't required any single part apart from regular servicing, clutch cable, brake shoes etc. Even a Honda brake shoe from Honda lasted me 2 years with regular use, so when there is no major income from spares, companies will never earn profit and that is why they take a decision to kill such a flawless product. I also own a bullet but I feel the power or pickup of eterno is more than a 350cc bullet. this is my personal opinion and need not match with others.

I too own a Honda Eterno since 2005 and am looking for spare parts in Hyderabad.

The required spare parts are silencer, brake pads and clutch pads.

Do you know a place from where I could buy its spare parts?

I have bought a 2nd hand Eterno 8 days back to travel less distance.. the vehicle runs about 1 or 2 kms after which the engine switches off automatically.. what are the possible causes for the same, & repeatadely? mechanic is saying the possible sell this bike to scrap because not availability of its spare parts..... please any one can help me for better solution in hyderbad....

Hi dear Eterno riders, I too own a Honda Eterno since 2004..and I still love riding it. But as you said, there no spare-parts available in the market. And last year I ended-up paying more for a used CDI-unit (than what a genuine new CDI unit have had costed me).
If they can launch a scooter i a market and sell a huge number of them why can't they keep supplying the spare parts to support them.
I seriously think we should raise a complaint in the CONSUMER FORUM against Honda Scooters .(I am sure writing the complaints on this website alone will not solve any purpose)
And if the consumer forum can punish the shopkeepers (restaurants) for charging even Re.1 (extra from the Bill ) from their customers why can't they take action against HOnda Scooters for seeling a product for more than Rs36000 and then refusing to support it.

Eterno is really a quality scooter, I did about 100000 kms but still it has got lot of power imagine i touch 100 kmph still the engine is smooth. Only draw back difficult to get spares, however they are available in ramkote Hyderabad.

anybody who is maintaining this scooter please do not sell.

Honda Eterno is a jewel which i bought by chance. Using it since 2006. Great bird - good pick up- no maintenance - very hardy - love it - spare part is a problem but its ok -- it will still run another 5-6 years -- very very satisfied - i need the speedometer and the clutch plate

My Experience with Honda ETERNO was best.
Model 97, still giving a mileage of 65kms.
Faced problem with spare availability.
Discovered a retail shop/distributor at Mumbai (Grant road, Balaram street)
EXPO Auto Spares - 022-23014488
Most of the failure spares are available with them.

Technicians also avoid to repair ETERNO.
Met a good technician, who never refuse repairing an ETERNO, located at Mumbai, Nr.Sakinaka Metro railway stationn - Narayan - 9619117988

Few spares I need at Bangalore and dealer said no. Then I e-mailed to the company the spare parts No and where required at Bangalore. Dealer called me in about 25 days and asked me to fix it. Mine is 2007 model odo 55500 still I am getting 55Km/Lit I do regular servicing only

I am using Eterno past 13 years have no problem as I do regular servicing and checking in Haiko honda service station in Jakkasandra Bangalore. Go through all comments eterno is best and good scooter after bajaj chectak two wheeler. Because of look this model discontinued. Now I am facing problem not getting the miner parts like break/cluth/gear cables extra but as per my mechanic advice I purchase these cables long before and kept ready this is helping me to have service on time. As per my knowledge parts are available with honda company in gurgaon but take time. If any one finding parts in bangalore for eterno kindly check with mahaveer automobile jc road kalasipalyam you may getting it and I got information that mumbai or delhi some honda show rooms parts available.

Honda Eterno is my lifeline. You guys would think i am giving exaggerated figures..but my eterno has clocked more than close to 1.7 Lakh kms. A 2003 first batch Eterno, it only requires regular engine oil change at evry 2.5k-3k kms and basic maintenance from time to time. I have a very good fixed mechanic for my scooter in Cuttack and get it serviced frm him only. Recently my father met an accident while he was riding this scooter..someone from rear crashed his bike into my father. He was unhurt but my scooter got a very bad beating. The rear has been smashed and now i am having trouble finding a replacement tail light and indicators. The front fibre panel(probably the only fibre part) also is broke. It will take some time..but i will manage to get the spares and will get it back on the road once again. Its a good scooter, trust me. Been riding it for the past 13 years..niggle free. I trust it more than my other new age bikes and scooters. Cheers

I am too a pride owner of Eterno. Its really amazing. Its showing high mileage. But its much heavier for me. I request Honda company not to stop production, but they said its our business strategy and it had limited production. Then i scolded them a lot and said if you stop its production then i wont buy any of your product. As I am living in a small town here availability of parts is quite difficult. Thank god that till now it has not shown any problem. My mechanic said that many of his customers are supporters of Honda. If Eterno is available anywhere in India they will buy it. Really its super super. But very sorry that company has stopped its production.

I am one of the ETERNO lovers
I have 2008 model got recently from Hyderabad this is my third model, and the spare parts also available here. I recently done my scooter bore work now it gives me the great mileage of 67 KMPL. really it's a gem don't sell this scooter. It will start with half kick at any atmospheric condition be careful with it's kick make sure the head light switched off, otherwise the kick rod kicked back like old bullet. and the reliability wise it's amazing, the rust will not appear if you leave the vehicle at road side for a long time the strong metal body it has.

I am a proud owner of Honda Eterno 150, running this lovely scooter for more than 15 yrs now, I rode it for more than 2Lacs kms. Till date it is running fantastically. Only issue is to maintain this scooter I had to keep very good regular maintenance of it, also had to contact the service center for buying spares on assumptions, even months before than its actual requirement. This is how I still keep this vehicle running. And believe me this is much better in milage/ comfort,/ reliability than any running brands in 2018

yes, HONDA ETERNO it is an excellent scooter, i have been using this since 2004. It never stopped, rugged, now the speedometer reading is 80000kms. I have been keeping it in open place under sun and moon, rain. very strong, some times i meet crashes with some others, then it was ok! nothing happened to it, but the opposit was crashed badly. Still it is running good, ofcourse, if i sell no body will purchase, hardly i may get 4000 or odd. Happy to keep with me than sell it. No maintance, except some times changing cables and brake shoes, thats all. Iam getting spares from vijayawada in ap, they are genuine. I maintaining some spares with me. I can say it is the BEST AND SUPERB SCOOTER for a family than any vehicle, even activa. Still iam getting 55km/lt in long running, is better than any scooter in market ar present.

Hi Team, I own Honda Eterno from 2006 onwards and its running extremely well till date, Lately there is some tapped sound setting which started and i need to know how to adjust it, Honda Service Centre in Udupi is a waste as the technicianss are all young and they do not know about old Kick Starter scooters at all, Infact they were amazed at whatmake and model my scooter belongs to.
I tried to explain to them the Tapped settings but they screwed it up more. Can anybbody help me

I own an Honda eterno scooter since 2005. Iam extremly satisfied woth my scooter as it is the best two wheeler I have no troubles and absolutely zero maintainence. Recently I am facing a small problem with its current unit as the headlight bulb is getting fused. Can anyone suggest me where I would get its current unit CDI i guess.

I own a 2003 Honda Eterno scooter. I have never come across any scooter like this . It is one of the best . Even after nearly 17 years it is running smoothly and no spares except some consumables like bulb, tyre etc . Recently got required spares online from Safe bikes.com . Eterno is very comfortable to ride . I this it is going to give another 10 years of life if maintained properly.

Dear Sir, I am having Eterno Scooter and is running smoothly since last 17 years. But since last 3 months it is giving trouble. On seeking advice from the Company Workshop in Jaipur it has been stated that the Scooter requires change of Clutch Plates. Trust upon them they have raised a bill of Rs.1834.00 for changing of Clutch Plates and Cable. Is this amount is reasonable or the company has charged huge amount. Kindly see and inform me only for my information whether this amount is justified or not.

We got our Eterno back in January 2008. Registered on my father's name, but now I've got my driving license, so I ride it and I take care of it. The only modification I've done so far is installation of Battery for Horn only. Eterno is a true 150CC beast. Still after 13.5 years, outruns new scooters and even bikes. Never gonna sell it, even after the documents get expired.

Just 1 complaint to Honda... why aren't they thinking to launch a geared scooter in BS6 Segment!? We All need it😐

Honda Eterno is an exceptionally good Scooter, Mine's maintained at Honda Service centre, (it's as good as any BS6 scooter CO % Vol 0.035; H C ppm 39.00; CO2% Vol 1.480), since I purchased it on 25th March, 2004, I've clocked over 2.3 Lakh Kilometres almost as much as a car! Right now I'm looking for H T Coil, and Coil plate, CDI is still available here

I am also searching for some spares to keep my Eterno running. It has been serving me since 2004 and never disheartened me. If the spares are made available, I think it will still challenge all BS VI variants in comfort and quality riding. It is a fact that it has no sophistication, but it has fulfilled the aspirations and purpose of its existence.
