R15 or cbr250

Go for CBR250. CBR250 is surely more powerful than Yamaha R15. Also it comes with an optional ABS feature. Although Yamaha R15 is a mini Super bike, it doesn't promise value for money. Maximum power for CBR250 is 26. 2 bhp (18.7 kilowatts) @8500 rpm (95/1/EC) whereas for R15 maximum power comes around 17PS / 8,500rpm.
Maximum Torque(CBR250): 22.9 Nm @7,000 rpm (95/1/EC)
Maximum torque(R15): 15 Nm / 7,500rpm

Hi, you cannot compare the bikes because both are in different segments. Yamaha R15 is a 150cc bike and Honda CBR is a 250cc bike. The Honda CBR 250r has a reliable 249.6 cc, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4-valves, PGM-Fi engine with 25.8 hp @ 8500 rpm of power and 22.9 Nm @ 7000 rpm of torque. It has 6- speed gears with a top speed of 163 kmph and having 24 to 32 kmpl depending upon the riding conditions. The main difference lies in the pricing of the two bikes. The new Yamaha R15 has price tag of Rs 1.07 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi which is too high and not worth for a 150 cc bike where as Honda CBR 250r with ABS has Rs 1.68 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi which is a moderate price and worth for buying. So Honda CBR 250r is the best in terms of performance and pricing and with out any doubt go for it.
