Buying Bajaj Avenger 220 is a right choice? Is there any alternative for the same

Hi, its not the right choice to buy Bajaj Avenger 220. So without any doubt go for the reliable Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark 350. The bike has reliable 346cc, Air cooled, Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, Twinspark, Tci, Aluminium UCE engine with 19.8 bhp @ 5250 rpm of power and has 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm of torque with 5-speed gears and has top speed of 120 kmph. The Thunderbird gives mileage of around 34 to 40 kmpl depending upon the riding style and conditions and has good comfort in riding and handling. The Thunderbird Twinspark 350 is the best cruiser bike currently made in India and has very good resale value.
Where as Bajaj Avenger 220 has 219.9 cc, Oil-Cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, DTS-i engine with 19.03 hp @ 8400 rpm of power and has 17.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm of torque and gives mileage of around 36 to 42 kmpl depending upon the riding style and conditions.
Bajaj Avenger 220 lacks lacks engine reliability and has shorter life span and is not a consistent performance bike and has poor resale value. So first test ride the bikes and take a wise decision.

No alternative. It is the only cruiser bike in India in the same engine capacity. Go for it.

2.HANDLING THUNDERBIRD IS DIFFICULT AND THAT TOO WITH PILLION.... SINCE IT IS HEAVY.
3.MAINTENANCE IS MUCH COSTLIER THAN AVENGER
4.IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A BIKE MORE THAN 6YRS GO FOR THUNDERBIRD.
5. DELIVERY PERIOD OF ROENFIELD BIKES TAKES A LOT OF TIME.
6.AVENGER 220 CAN GIVE SOME COMPETITION TO THUNDERBIRD 350CC.. POWER WISE , LOOKS WISE , COMFORT WISE ,

THUNDERBIRD IS NOT A CRUISER IT IS MADE TO LOOK LIKE THAT REALLY ..
....JUST FEEL LIKE GOD WITH AVENGER...

i like avenger because its low maintenance cost.TB heavy hai. Tyre is thin .mileage both are same.38-43 KML .

Please don't compare bajaj with RE...avenger is just a show bike not a cruiser..within the limited cost n perfomance..RE is the best in india...or u can choose triumph or HD...if ur Pocket is big..otherwise please be silent..

RE TB is just a hybrid, it cannot be categorized under bullet or cruiser! It is just a mix of both which isn't gonna give you any satisfaction of a low slung rider either a torque full bullet. Either pick Avy or wait for UM Global launch for Cruiser. If you have idea on bullets purchase a Classic 350. Again all these have their own pros and cons,
PROS -
Avy: Distinct look, less maintenance, cruiser breed, easy availability of spares, no holes in your pocket on longer run, service network
TB:power, RE brand
UM Global:Cruiser breed,US/Mexico brand, loads of improvements that we seek from avy are already present
CONS:
Avy: underpowered, essential goodies like tubeless tyre,kickstart are missing, pillion seat needs to be changed to split seat like Classic 350 for best comfort.
RE TB(Classic 350 too): NOT RELIABLE, Rusty, requires loads of patience and maintenance, no comfort for pillion(seat is small, backrest is small), vibrations, front fork damage prone due to vibration every 6months.
UM Global: Unknown launch date, unknown service network, new player to market.

TB is a transgender between cruiser and bullet. If you want a cruiser stick to avy or move ahead to Aquila, HD. Else get a bullet Classic 350
