My honda shine 3 to 2 gear shifting problem its strucking

Provided you know how to shift gears properly, this problem could mean that either the clutch needs adjustment or the clutch plates need replacement. Please elaborate your problem so that a suitable diagnosis could be made.

I also faced the same problem.I purchased on august 2012.
I raised a complaint to customer care,they r simply saying that,contact nearest dealers. Delars r not ready to solve/not able to solve the issue. Honda ia not ready to solve the problems.See U have raised a complaint on 20-11-2011.I purchased on Aug-2012. still the problem is present means we have to decide .......

I am also facing the same problem. i have bought it on 2013 March. severl time i informed in servjce centre there is no solution..

No use.I am facing similar problem.My bike is giving noice during 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 gear shifting.No correct response from service centre.They are arguing it as general functionality of bike.I bought just 2 months before and second service also completed yesterday but no correct solution since my purchase.

My bike as giving same problem I told to technician but he told it correct working

I purchased Honda Shine in May, 2014 and after one year four months, vehicle has run for four thousand kms, still the vehicle gear shift was very rough,
after repeated consultants with Honda technicians, they told one to four vehicle in hundred will have this kind of problem !
After looking into the Shine manual, they recommended 10W30 oil, I changed the Hond oil to 10W30 Servo synthetic oil, list price 705/. The gear change is smooth and vehicle running smoothly.

Guys Although it is a good product but below below serious concern are present in SHINE SP
1.) Gear Shifting Issue (Can cant not be resolved)
2.) Oil leaking from engine ..

Total waste bike

I have 2015 model and having the same problem so replaced 10w30 engine oil with 10W40 synthetic ( Motul 300V) and it worked. Last month I gave that bike for servicing the mechanic change oil with regular 10w30 mineral oil and guess what problem came back so now I am again changing oil with 300v yeah its a costly one but it worked

I bought CB shine 2days back in parkal honda showroom. Iam also facing same problem gear shifting from 4 to3,2.if any solution please send mail.

This is to bring to your notice that I gave my Honda shine bike for service to service centre.I have been facing an issue at the time of gear shift gear missing in fourth gear. the same issue from i have facing at the time of new bike delivery Nov 2020

I have sent by bike in service two times but the issue is the same. I even complained about the issue at the time of sending 2nd time service but the issue is the same. and now one more issue i have found in a bike oil leakage as attached photo.



I was given my bike for service at Apex Honda, Nr. Sunrise Hotel Narol-Aslali Road, Bhamariya Lambha, Narolgam, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382405.



Please find the Attached oil leakage and RC photo for your reference. My feedback regarding service is very bad. I never suggest to anyone for a service bike on apex.
