I am confused between apache rtr 160 hyper edge and avenger 220, let me know which is the better of these bikes on highways and in terms of performance. I would be riding 800-1000kms every month & almost 600kms would be on highways.
Please suggest if any other option is also available in the price range of 70000 to 85000Rs except Karizma.

Because it got more power and many features like DC electrics, tubeless tyre etc.
So in my personal opinion its better to go for Yamaha Fazer or Yamaha FZ-S. Both are very stylish reliable smooth performance bikes and has same reliable 153 cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine with 14 hp @ 7500 rpm of power and has 13.6 Nm @ 6000 rpm of torque and gives mileage of around 38 to 48 kmpl depending upon the riding style and conditions and has good comfort while riding and handling. So test ride the bikes and take a wise decision.
There are plenty pf options in the Rs 70000-Rs 85000 price range. You can buy the RTR 180 ABS, which is the most value for money performance bike in the country or you can go for the Honda Unicorn (Rs 70000), which is an extremely smooth and refined motorcycle with excellent parts quality and reliability. However, the best motorcycle for highway cruising at Rs 85000 remains the Karizma R, whether or not you like it is a different question. Since you dont like it, you should go for either the RTR 180 or the Avenger 220. As said earlier, the Avenger 220 would be better for the highway, though the RTR 180 would beat it hollow in the performance stakes (0-60, 0-100, Top speed, handling and braking)
