In my opinion (of having used the Unicorn for 2+ years), the Mono-shock is the greatest feature of the Unicorn. Mono-shock improves handling than traditional 2-shock setup. This is confidence-inspiring especially while cornering.

Both are priced almost the same too. You can't make a bad choice with any of them.
Do think of how you feel about the bikes once you've ridden them - then go with the one that makes you feel good.

Hi, both are good bikes but Honda Unicorn is a superior bike than CBZ Xtreme. The Unicorn has reliable 150cc, 4-stroke, Air-Cooled, OHC, Single Cylinder engine with 13.3 bhp @ 8000 rpm of power and has 12.8 Nm @ 5500 rpm of torque. The new Honda Unicorn has an overall mileage of around 52-58 kmpl depending upon the riding conditions and style. The Honda Unicorn with reliable engine and quality body parts, good mileage, decent power, very good comfort in riding and handling and has very good resale value which makes it the best all rounder bike with true value for money. So better go for it.

Hi, in my personal opinion its better to go for Yamaha FZ-S having reliable 153 cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine with 14 hp @ 7500 rpm of power and has 13.6 Nm @ 6000 rpm of torque and gives mileage of around 40 to 48 kmpl depending upon the riding style and conditions. The Yamaha FZ-S has more comfort in riding and handling than CBZ Xtreme and Unicorn but lacks mileage. So first test ride the bikes and take a wise decision.

cbz extream is best because it is smoother tan unicorn and its pickup is slightly higher and it has more stylish look and performance too than unicorn !!

Psl dont go for Unicorn,from the date of purchase its monoshock is not working and the overall quality is fell down.Nothing works well and you hv to go to service center thrice in a week as me!!!

I called her poor mans Hearly Davidson great bike only one thing is very very ugly and looking like ass that front number plate is not ok in voiger. place it in under the headlite

Hi,All I regularly use both of them(Have a unicorn with my brother & herohonda cbz xtreme with me).Both of them having the same engine (149 cc honda engine).So its Engine performance will not defer much, but in reliability & riding comfort I will opt my cbz. CB Unicorn built in quality n performance is much lowered compared to their old Unicorn.
CBZ has better stability better riding position& good The draw back is its gear box which has slight slipping on occasions. The service centers are the worst.
Unicorn also having good riding comfort but stability & control is slightly lesser than cbz
