HONDA SHINE - CARBURETTOR PROBLEM

After recently servicing my honda shine due to break of accelerator cable etc., my bike is not performing well regards to acceleration. on releasing the accelerator the bike continues to be accelerated for 3-5 seconds before lowering down causing me inconvenience to change gears rapidly. the mechanic says the carburettor needs to be changed and it costs around 3500+. can u suggest any other mechanic/ mode of its re-caliberation

I don't think that the problem is with carburetor. Since you have recently changed the accelerator cable, it might not be with the cable either. Get in touch with other expert mechanic and you could find out the real problem of the bike.

Don't change carburettor Change Carburettor slide. It cost around 600 only. It's diaphragm got damaged that's why performance loss and acceleration not getting down to idle fastly.
