My question is regarding the royal enfield G2 engine, apart from the year of manufacture, from which factor can it be proved that the engine is an G2 engine ?

I am about to purchase a second hand 1975 make royal enfield from a delhi guy. he claims that his bullet engine is the royal enfield G2 engine, but he doesn't tells me the details about it, so how can i make sure that he's correct ? Please let me know !
