I have the new gen 3 model that launched in September, 2023. Got delivery of the bike in the Latter part of October 2023, Registered in BH-bharat series.
(new registration number and plates will have to be created since BH series plate cannot be transferred to just anybody. Will cost about 35k here in Mumbai for MH number. Government employee or other people who work at companies with offices in more than 4 states are the exception). Have valid Insurance till 6th October, 2028. As on 10th April, 6500kms on the odometer. No issues found on my particular production model. No crashes or Traffic fines. If interested, please do reach out and see for yourself.
