CB 650F is the new breed of mid-sized naked street bike from Honda. The full-faired version of this model is the CBR 650F. Although, there's nothing flash or fancy about this CB and the Honda designers have clearly paid a great deal of attention to the important details and given more towards the one that really matters. It combines honed, sporty performance with everyday practicality, all in one streetfighter styling machine.
The bike is powered by the same 649cc, in-line four cylinder engine with new intake and exhaust system which increases the power to 4 bhp (2017 variant). The 16 valve, DOHC engine uses PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. The mill churns out a maximum power of 64 kW and a peak torque of 63 Nm. Engine is mated to 6-speed gearbox and power is transmitted through special O-ring sealed chain. The machine here not producing a great amount of torque, but this is still a middleweight four, a turbine-smooth rev-monster.
The 2017 variant uses a new 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) fork, for efficient and smooth suspension with improved rebound damping.
