BMW R 1200 GS

Perfomance

The mill of the BMW R 1200 GS has a 1170.00 cc Air/liquid-cooled four stroke flat twin engine, double overhead camshaft, one balance shaft engine. The legendary engine of the R 1200 GS is tested on real-life conditions are proud to be very mighty and powerful. The engine is mated to a Constant mesh 6-speed gearbox with helical gear tee. The top speed of this adventure bike is more than 200kmph.



Chassis, Suspension and Braking

The BMW R 1200 GS has a two-section frame, front- and bolted on rear frame with the load-bearing engine. The big frame is made to give the R 1200 GS a very stable and optimum riding dynamics and off-road capability. The suspension setup of the bike done with BMW Motorrad Telelever; stanchion diameter 37 mm, central spring strut as the front suspension while the rear suspension setup comes with Cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever; WAD strut (travel-related damping), spring pre-load hydraulically adjustable (continuously variable).



The braking of the bike is done with Dual disc brake with 4-piston radial calipers while the rear brakes are done with Single disc brake, diameter 276 mm with a double-piston floating caliper. The petrol tank capacity of the bike is 20 litres. The entire weight of the bike is 238 kg.
