2 percent growth reported by Hero MotoCorp in March sales

Hero MotoCorp,India's biggest two wheeler manufacturer is continuing its run of success in 2012 also. They are continuously producing results which are pointing north. March results also came out telling the same success story the company is writing for the last few years.



Hero MotoCorp has reported 2.41 per cent increase in its sales for March at 5,28,290 units. The company had sold 5,15,852 units during the same month last year, it was reported. The company is now getting into some strategic tie ups with many other global companies.

According to reports, for the entire 2011-12 fiscal, the company crossed 60- lakh sales mark for the first time by dispatching a cumulative of 62,35,205 units as against 54,02,444 units in the previous fiscal, up 15.41 per cent.



"FY2011–12 has indeed been a defining year for us, action–packed and memorable. " said Mr. Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and CEO, Hero MotoCorp

He added, "Having taken the bold decision to chart our own course, we not only managed to retain our leadership position, but actually improved on our earlier performance to further enhance our market share during the financial year."
