Why is the Monster 795 cheap?
The Monster 795 is priced around Rs 5 lacs and one of the main reasons for the low price is that India has a free trade agreement with Thailand and rightly so, the bike is assembled there.
However there are some changes on the Ducati Monster 795 (the Asia special) as compared to the Monster 796 (international version), which are as follows:
Double-sided swing arm of the Monster 795 unlike single-sided one
Seat height reduced to 30 inches from 31.5 inches
Monster 795 has 3-spoke alloy wheels (two cut back from 5 spokes).
Ducati is also planning to expand its dealership network in India considering the huge market size and is including four new dealers this year, which raises the total number of dealers to seven. The Monster will come in red (as base color) and double tone color options with red again. With the market for super bikes steaming up all you superbike lovers glove on to throttle this Monster.
