Launch of KTM Duke 200 during Diwali

The KTM Duke 200 has been launched in Malaysia about three weeks back and it does excite every other bike enthusiast to learn that it will soon foray into the Indian market too.



The made in India KTM Duke 200 will be imported to Malaysia as CKD units and that also gives some relief as the cost of the bike will not be very high and prospective buyers can definitely own the bike.

There are speculations that the KTM Duke 200 will be launched in India during the Diwali festival season.



Bajaj Auto is the stakeholder for KTM in India and it would take care of the bike launch and post launch sales operations in the Indian market. Once the Duke 200 takes off the company has plans to roll out KTM Duke 350 and it may take a year for the Duke 350 to see light on Indian roads. The price of Duke 2o0 is expected to be fairly competitive considering the fact that the company makes the Duke 200 and Duke 125 in the Indian plant. The success of it depends on the success of the Bajaj-KTM J-V. Let us hope it sure will be a good success.
