Pulsar 220 - so what's new? Bajaj Auto has given a new upgrade (if that is the right way of saying) to its flagship model Pulsar 220. The most successful and the premium of the Pulsars the Pulsar 220 will now come in new color upgrade.
Bajaj Auto seems to be offering upgrades with no changes otherwise but the graphics and body colors. The Pulsar 220 DTSi will soon be available in livelier colors and graphics. While auto pundits say that it's a strategic move by the Bajaj Auto to retain the Pulsar 220 market share not taken away by the newbie premium bikes, Pulsar fans can look forward to the color scheme change.
Pulsar 220 with the new metallic orange color doesn't sport any significant overhauling with respect to design and/or engine and mechanics of bike. When people are waiting for a new Pulsar with an exciting architecture will the color upgrade do any good to the auto major?
I personally feel it isn't worth waiting. I rather wait for something big and better in the Pulsar 220 and color change is just a let down.
It is speculated that the bike major hasn't thought of upgrading price (something to cheer here).
