Prospective buyers and Enfield lovers have been inquiring about the bike and the bike's launch in India, that eventually Royal Enfield seems to have given it a nod for the Indian launch of this classy motorcycle.

The Classic Chrome 500 is no different from the Royal Enfield Classic 500 EFI as both share the 500cc, air-cooled, pushrod-based UCE (unit construction engine) which gives maximum power of 27.2Bhp @5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3Nm @4,000 rpm. The fuel injected engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.

Classic Chrome 500 export versions run on 18-inch wheels, but it is speculated around that the Indian version of the Royal Enfield Classic Chrome 500 will come with 19-inch wheels. This is to enhance stability of the bike at high speeds. As regards looks the Classic Chrome 500 is all chromed; starting from mudguards (both front and rear) to huge fuel tank and air box to give the bike an incredible road presence.

Will the chrome give back the imposing presence to the bike that RE bikes are known for? Let's wait.
