LML Select 150cc launched

It's an already competitive segment and even the big auto behemoths are facing the stiff competition from adversaries. Under these circumstances LML Select II 150cc is a scooter that is launched in New Delhi and the NCR region.



The launch of the LML Select II comes as a surprise as the LML brand didn't have launches in the last few years. The Bajaj and the Hero Hondas gave a tough run for the LML that it had to go into oblivion with no news, let alone some launches. The launch of the LML Select out of nowhere now seems the scooter maker is considering a comeback option despite serious threat from the likes of Activas and Access'. The company believes there is still market for 2 stroke scooters in the Delhi and NCR markets.

The LML Select 150 runs on a 2 stroke 150cc engine that belts 8 bhp power. The LML Select scooter will take us to nostalgia for sure to the times when we saw roads totally with either the Chetaks or the Priyas.



When business of LML fails in India it is surprising to see the LML scooters gaining popularity in other countries. Scooters are off vogue and there are many unisex scooters that have actually replaced them in big cities. Competition and fading popularity for scooters prompted Bajaj to discontinue its scooters. And LML senses it can still have market for scooters in Delhi/NCR, strange it may sound. And without much ado it came up with LML Select II 150 launch in Delhi and NCR. Time will tell if it can sell.
