Japanese bike manufacturer, Suzuki, wanted to give some redo on its Zeus model so it will strictly comply with the emission norms, there is a new bike in the offing soon.
Suzuki believed that instead of tuning the Zeus 125cc engine, bringing out a new model as better. It may kind of sound ridiculous as it will be competitor to its own Zeus.
Anyways, if rumors are to be taken seriously, the new model will be christened as Suzuki Sling shot. Showrooms have already gotten the bike although there is no word as to the official launch of Sling Shot as yet.
The Suzuki Sling Shot 125cc bike will have the same Zeus mill but it will be a tweaked one so it will be meeting the emission standards and get with the BS-III certification.
In the style department though there is a big disappointment and Sling Shot doesn't score well over other 125cc bikes currently available in the market and pictures suggest the bike will not come with disc brakes and digital console. Looks wise, it looks like Suzuki Zeus clone, although the headlamp kind of makes you recall Yamaha FZ series bikes (sounded too pompous?). The Suzuki SlingShot 125 will deliver maximum power 8.5 bhp @7500 rpm and generates maximum torque of 10 nm @3500 rpm. Expect more information as regards its bookings and sale soon.
