Kawasaki Ninja 400R on cards
Japanese bike maker Kawasaki has major plans for the coming year- a mega surprise for bike riders. The company plans to launch three new hotties from their stable in 2011 and India will soon have these three new hunks ruling the streets.
One of them will be a special edition of Ninja 250r, another maybe Ninja 400cc and the third entrant could be Ninja 650R.
For after the sale of Ninja 250r services and marketing Kawasaki has joined hands with Indian auto giant Baja Auto, and the Japanese company has announced that they will soon launch Ninja 650 in India.
Kawasaki has not disclosed any technical information about the Ninja 400r but a few sources say that a 399cc. 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel twin, 8-valved parallel twin cylindered fuel-injected engine with a bore of 68.4mm and stroke of 54.3mm that gives a maximum power of 44 bhp.
The styling and design of the Ninja 400r is likely to be similar with that of the Ninja 250r of course with a few changes such as the weight of the bike will be higher, large petal disc brakes both at front and rear end, fuel tank can hold 15.5 litres of fuel, sleek LED tail lamps, non-split seat and split grab rails are the most likely changes to be made. No wonder it has alluring looks and if rumors are right it could be competitively priced. So get ready to throttle the sexy sculpted Ninja which comes with the latest motorcycle technology and full digital instrumentation.
Until official announcement of the launch, guys just stay tuned to any news from the Kawasaki.
