Twin spark plug technology actually makes use of double igniters to give more fuel efficiency. While being locked in legal battle with Bajaj, TVS Motor still launched TVS Flame bike last year with the single spark ignition system instead of controversial twin-spark technology.

Now to relaunch the Flame DS 125cc, the TVS Motor Company used a unique three-valve CC-VTi engine technology. The technology is further supported by the twin spark plugs ignition system.

TVS Flame DS 125cc has had its new technology developed with Austria-based AVL and the 125cc engine with three valves is tweaked to give far excellent performance with improved fuel efficiency. Flame is the first and only bike with 3-valve and twin-spark plug technology. The new TVS Flame DS 125 comes with a price tag of Rs. 49,200 and it just a little higher than the existent Flame. The bike is available in colors of red and black.

TVS makes very promising products. However somewhere along the line, the owner gets short changed because the product develops snags or something gives way much sooner than expected. It is because the metal is weak or the quality control is not upto the mark? With the competition getting intense, it is vital to have a long product life if you wish to have a bigger customer base.
