Mahindra Two Wheelers the two-wheeler arm of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd launched 2 new scooters in the 4-stroke gearless scooters segment. The two new scooters are named Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Duro fall in the 125cc scooters range. They now join Mahindra Flyte that was launched earlier this year. Mahindra already scrapped the brand name of Kinetic and gave Flyte a Mahindra tag.
According to Anand Mahindra the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Mahindra group the launch is per their commitment after the group brought 110 crores worth of stakes from Kinetic Motors.
The two new scooters; Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Duro were developed indigenously but with technological inputs from Taiwan-based Sanyang Industry Company Ltd (SYM). The design expertise is credited to Engines Engineering.
While Rodeo has been given a price tag of Rs. 41, 299 the Duro had been priced at Rs. 38, 299 (ex-showroom Pune), respectively.
With three brands in the same segment viz., Flyte, Rodeo and Duro Mahindra expects to sell over 100,000 units in the coming 18 months’ time.
Rodeo and Duro both are great new package scooters. Rodeo pumps in 8 bhp power and that makes it as the most powerful among scooters for sure. Rodeo also comes with telescopic suspension just like we see in bikes and is expected to give smooth ride on the rugged Indian roads.
While Mahindra Duro comes with wide wheel base to give awesome stability to the scooter and it features a mammoth fuel tank.

Very disappointed with the mahindar Duro i have purchased, handle vowels a lot and low mileage and stand touches the ground on speed breakers or bad roads while driving double seat. Seat does not locks properly.
I have left the bike for repair 2 times for almost 15 days for the same issues at the dealership and still no help.
Neither the service engineer at dealership or from company are ready to accept the faults

Please don’t go for Mahindra 2Wheeler Me and many of other people are facing too many issues with mahindra 2 wheeler. Please review customer feedback on consumercomplaint.in better to go for proven 2 wheeler like honda,hero,tvs. Its a very customer insensitive company. Please review comment on above site before dealing with this company. Many people faced the battery and mileage issue within one month of purchase and their customer/workshop service is really harassing.
