Best bike…When compare to other 150cc bikes have small tyre, but it have more stability while applying brake at the speed 130.The body strength is so great than other bikes in india.
    Good body strength.

yamaha should look at the performance rather than giving a bike which looks like body of an elephant & legs of giraffe…..dont go for yamaha bikes, they are worth our parent’s hard earned money to spend.instead go for pulsar 220 dts i if performance & big bike fill you are looking for.

I’ve owned one since January 2010…the bike is exceptional and nothing (Pulsar, Karizma etc) can even be compared to it. The ride is smooth, control is precise, and comfort and stance, exceptional. It returns a decent efficiency of around 40-45 kmpl even in the city if you’re not going to wrench open the throttle. High-rpm engine, so the bike won’t race off, it’s a very good bike to start seriously if you’re now using a commuting bike.

In the city, the Pulsar can be a threat (never had a race with a P220) in the lower speeds, but once you shift into 6th and have crossed 50km/hr (this happens very quickly if you shift well), nothing comes close to it, the power delivery is seamless and uniform and there is no loss of power when you open the throttle, as happens with most carburetted bikes.

Very good build quality, looks very good (mine is Red, so it is very attractive), and, above all, the comfort and safety afforded by the bike…is worth the price tag, highly recommended.

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about its tyres…in my experience, these are the best tyres for the R15. Don’t even think of changing them, as you will ruin the handling and efficiency. Also, once you’ve ridden the bike you’ll know what I am talking about: it is a small bike and doesn’t need larger tyres. (You might recall the old Toyota Qualis which had minute tyres yet sold like crazy and returned very good fuel efficiency.) I don’t think riders of the R15 will complain about the tyres.

Also, if you’re over six feet, you might not want to ride this bike. This has been said elsewhere, but the R15 is not meant for tall guys (or girls) with long limbs. It is meant for the average Indian build!

Gd evening Yamaha, Yamaha must look to tail light.have you people seen TVS APACHE RTR 180′s tail light ?????? Yamaha please change the tail light with new one. like Apache RTR 180. I think alllllllll Yamaha fans out here agree with me. please convey this feedback to Yamaha people. Thanks n regards.

  14. SIDDHARTH

Can we xpect little bit more torque in same engine. I hope Yamaha people are listening………………..thanx n regards

“YAMAHA”….. d name itself is enough 2 compete others on road…. all honda n Hero Honda bikes can’t even pick up speed because of speed-locks…. But thanks 2 yamaha…. no speed-locks at all…. I agree dat d bike has skinny legs but after all……. dat is the reason y it can cut through traffic so well with such speed…. I mean fat/bigger tyres do look superb on that sport’s bike…. damn good… but then ****** MAIN BAAP KA PAISA BHI HONA ZARURI HAI…. BIGGER TYRES = EVEN LESS KMPL. 40kmpl IS ALREADY tooo less compared 2 other 150cc’s…. Ilike it just the way it is…… and i also agree about the tail light…. Ones like pulsar or apache would make it look nicer.-@r!j!t

ok man those crying about price first shud consider some factors

    1. racing design parentage, proven, taken from r1 compared to it pulser is an orphan.

    2. Direct fuel injection, the reason pulser has low price is that it runs on carburettor.

    3. 6 speed transmission vs pulsar’s 5

    4. Wind tunnel tested design

5.a good 22 kg less than pulser, good power to weight ratio. Thats why can beat it in a drag.

    6. forged piston, same that is used in superbikes for max performance

    7. delta frame design..the most imp part of a bike is its design..if its good, its worth all that money..simple as that..i wont mind paying 20k extra for this bike’s stability and maneuverability.

i think in a highly competitive performance bike market, with these features, the price is right, just having forges pistons and fuel injection would jack up pulser’s price by 25k.

The performance bike manufactures actually look forward to only a specific segment of buyers…a bit educated ones in the area of bikes..

    hi guys
next week i ll own my new yamaha r15 ,i already have rtr180 good pick up and milage but service ???????? what the hell tvs is doing in the name of service???total bullshit they dont have trained man power they cant identify the problem and they cant able to justify and shortlist. more viberation problem in rtr.i asked thr service engineer y this kind kind of viberation arriving.he asked me to drive 4500 rpm.i scolded him upto to his 3rd generation.then is this tvs 50?????? before taking tvs and bajaj brand pl friends think 1000000 times bcz we are spending our money for earing money & entertainment. first i have pulsar 180 damn shit.engine is like a home grinder sound.while riding i felt like driving road roller machine.but power is good but initial pick up rtr is good .in bajaj show room while free service they r not changing the oil fully please check this .r15 is best technology and sexy look my girl friend like rtr but now a days she pushing me to by r15.bcz now a days girls starts to think about bikes for thr life partner.
really r15 is a performance monster.none of the indian bike close to this.p220 good pick up and fast but if we touch 110 kms they we cant able to see the rear mirror which is in our bike properly that much viberation, rtr is award winner in viberation.karizma is good bcz its dont have any viberation problem but initial pick up is unicorn 150cc bike 223 cc bike should have initial power like angry horse.

finally i request u all to buy r15 bcz yamaha brand name and service quality ,engine reliability, performance.pl while purchasing bike try to spend 30k extra it ll save ur life from back pain and knee pain.after 2011 only in india girls ll like to ride in super bikes so pl friends change ur self and try to buy karizma,r15,pulsar220 (let see rtr200)

we all r bike lovers and passionate to ride so argue but pl dont fight .all company getting growth due to India’s young guns
