Specifications of Piaggio Vespa LX125

We have earlier reported about plans of Piaggio to relaunch Vespa LX125. Now the scooter maker has officially announced date for the relauch of Vespa brand into the Indian two-wheeler market. April 26, 2012 will see the launch of the Vespa LX125, and the event is scheduled in Mumbai.

Piaggio will set its foot into the Indian market with 50 dealerships across the country.

The Vespa LX125 scooter will come in 7 flashy colors - black, silver, yellow, red, orange, blue and white.



The company wants to position Vespa as a lifestyle two wheeler, so don't expect it to come with a cheapie price tag.

Additionally, the launch will be followed by inauguration of company's manufacturing unit coming up at Baramati, Maharashtra. According to the company, Baramati Plant will be able to churn out 150,000 units every year with ability to produce more based on the demand.
