Hyosung GT 650N launched in India

Bike enthusiasts in India have some news to cheer. Garware Motors in collaboration with S&T Motors from Korea have rolled out Hyosung GT 650N.

The second variant from Hyosung was formerly the GT 650R but renamed as 650N (the naked variant). The Hyosung GT 650N is a stripped down naked version of the fully faired Hyosung GT650R and the 650cc bike comes with a price tag of Rs.4,39,000 (Delhi ex-showroom price).

The bike comes in three colors; black, white and red and Garware Motors will be solely responsible for sale and service of the bike through its dealership network all over India. The bike was unveiled by Diya Garware, Managing Director of the Garware Motors in India on October 13, 2011.

Addition of the new naked bike from Hyosung, GT 650 N actually means that the oomph quotient for speed in India is up by a notch and more. The bike has been stripped down so that it fits very well to the race levels and the aggressive style is untouched though.

The Hyosung GT650N is strictly not the bike for speed naysayers and disciplined riders (you get what I mean to say, here) and it oozes speed from the word go. Just hit the asphalt and release the throttle you would be off to bullet-like start, it sure has some competition from Kawasaki Ninja 650R which is available as a KCD unit from Bajaj, the price of the Hyosung GT650N would cast some magic on the Indian bike enthusiasts and it would swallow some sales share of the Ninja.
